Gupta, famous in his extended family for forwarding completely fabricated UNESCO reports about the Indian national anthem, brings decades of experience in rapid, unverified information dissemination.
'My first act will be to ensure that every citizen receives at least three terrifying medical warnings involving a combination of onions, cold water, and 5G radiation before 8 AM,' Gupta announced at a press conference.
The opposition has criticized the move, claiming that Gupta's expertise is outdated. 'He still uses static images for his forwards. The modern misinformation landscape requires AI deepfakes,' said a spokesperson.
